In 2012, the three local Outaouais integrated forest management tables (GIRT) reached consensus on the harmonisation of operational calendars. In response to the tables’ request to have these measures put in place (September 18, 2012), the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks decided to include the harmonisation in its operational guidelines and harvesting contracts.
